並書, 如歩字初發聲

ㅍ, 脣音, 如漂字初發聲 

ㅁ, 脣音, 如彌字初發聲

ㅈ, 齒音, 如即字初發聲 
並書, 如慈字初發聲

ㅊ, 齒音, 如侵字初發聲


[Translation]

ㅂ is a bilabial sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 彆, 
and written side by side, pronounced at the beginning of words like 歩

ㅍ is a bilabial sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 漂

ㅁ is a bilabial sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 彌

ㅈ is a dental sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 即, 
and written side by side, pronounced at the beginning of words like 慈

ㅊ is a dental sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 侵

(When the initial  sound  is combined,) it is written together, and the final  sound  is the same. ㆍ ㅡ ㅗ ㅜ ㅛ ㅠ , 附 書 初 聲 之 下 . ㆍㅡㅗㅜㅛㅠ are written as supplemental letters under the initial consonants. ㅣ ㅏ ㅓ ㅑ ㅕ , 附 書 於 右 . ㅣㅏㅓㅑㅕ are written as supplemental letters on the right side. 凡 字 必 合 而 成 音 . All characters must be combined to form a sound 左 加 一 點 則 去 聲 , 二 點 則 上 聲 , 無 則 平 聲 . Adding one dot on the left side indicates a departing tone, two dots indicate a rising tone, and none indicate a flat tone. 入 聲 加 點 同 而 促 急 Adding dots to the entering tone is the same, but it is an urgent.
