ㅋ, 牙音, 如快字初發聲

ㆁ, 牙音, 如業字初發聲

ㄷ, 舌音, 如斗字初發聲

並書, 如覃字初發聲

ㅌ, 舌音, 如呑字初發聲

ㄴ, 舌音, 如那字初發聲


[Translation]

(ㄱ is a dental sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 君,) 
and written side by side, pronounced at the beginning of words like 虯.

ㅋ is a dental sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 快.

ㆁ is a dental sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 業.

ㄷ is a tongue sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 斗, 
and written side by side, pronounced at the beginning of words like 覃.

ㅌ is a tongue sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 呑.

ㄴ is a tongue sound, pronounced at the beginning of words like 那.

(When the initial  sound  is combined,) it is written together, and the final  sound  is the same. ㆍ ㅡ ㅗ ㅜ ㅛ ㅠ , 附 書 初 聲 之 下 . ㆍㅡㅗㅜㅛㅠ are written as supplemental letters under the initial consonants. ㅣ ㅏ ㅓ ㅑ ㅕ , 附 書 於 右 . ㅣㅏㅓㅑㅕ are written as supplemental letters on the right side. 凡 字 必 合 而 成 音 . All characters must be combined to form a sound 左 加 一 點 則 去 聲 , 二 點 則 上 聲 , 無 則 平 聲 . Adding one dot on the left side indicates a departing tone, two dots indicate a rising tone, and none indicate a flat tone. 入 聲 加 點 同 而 促 急 Adding dots to the entering tone is the same, but it is an urgent.
