ㅓ, 如業字中聲

ㅛ, 如欲字中聲

ㅑ, 如穰字中聲

ㅠ, 如戍字中聲

ㅕ, 如彆字中聲

終聲復用初聲.

ㅇ連書脣音之下, 則為脣輕音.

初聲合用(則並書, 終聲同.)


[Translation]

ㅓ, as in the middle sound of the word 業.

ㅛ, as in the middle sound of the word 欲.

ㅑ, as in the middle sound of the word 穰.

ㅠ, as in the middle sound of the word 戍.

ㅕ, as in the middle sound of the word 彆.

The final sound reuses the initial sound.

When the character 'ㅇ' is written under a labial sound, it represents a light labial sound.

When the initial sound is combined, (it is written together, and the final sound is the same.)

(When the initial  sound  is combined,) it is written together, and the final  sound  is the same. ㆍ ㅡ ㅗ ㅜ ㅛ ㅠ , 附 書 初 聲 之 下 . ㆍㅡㅗㅜㅛㅠ are written as supplemental letters under the initial consonants. ㅣ ㅏ ㅓ ㅑ ㅕ , 附 書 於 右 . ㅣㅏㅓㅑㅕ are written as supplemental letters on the right side. 凡 字 必 合 而 成 音 . All characters must be combined to form a sound 左 加 一 點 則 去 聲 , 二 點 則 上 聲 , 無 則 平 聲 . Adding one dot on the left side indicates a departing tone, two dots indicate a rising tone, and none indicate a flat tone. 入 聲 加 點 同 而 促 急 Adding dots to the entering tone is the same, but it is an urgent.
